HOW WE WORK
We have figured out that there is more to effective design than just design itself. Even the most beautifully designed piece may not achieve the desired results if it isn't on target in terms of content, structure and scope.
With new clients, we typically begin by constructing a marketing questionnaire for the purpose of gathering knowledge of your particular industry and your position within that industry, along with your specific business goals and the message required to reach those goals.
From there we begin the design process, carefully integrating what was learned from you, the client, and questionnaire into a polished, well-conceived piece that will get results. We work in a timely manor you. We have a great turnaround time because time IS money.
ABOUT THE OWNER
Ever since I can remember, I've had this fascination with art. I mimicked drawings when I was in school and made shoebox houses when I was bored. As I matured, I began to perfect my art and find my niche within it. I never thought that my adolescent love for art would actually be something that I excel in. It became my passion and something that I enjoyed.
Art to me is an expression of life and love. I learned this as I attended high school and college. I was awarded my Commercial Art degree from Oakwood University and continue to advance academically. I was taught how to expand my view on art and master many techniques. I started my business in 2006 and have serviced many clients since then.
When asked what I do, the first thing that I say is "CREATE". I Love To Create and think outside the box. I want my clients to know that art is who I am. I AM a Graphic Designer and have been since birth and I'm inspired when my clients are inspired by my work and my love for art.
I like being a flash developer because it gives me a means to be creative. I want to create a website with many features and options while understanding that most people don't have "graphic designer" funds. My websites give my clients the ability to be unique while not having to pay so much. Some of my client also work out a payment plan because as I want to help them, they help me. How long will the project take to complete?
Time frames usually vary from two weeks to three months, depending on specific deliverables, with the “average” project duration lasting three to five weeks. Every project is different, so we learn our clients individual needs before providing a schedule.

What exactly do I receive when during the course of the project?
We normally send clients a PDF presentation showing one or two effective brand identity solutions. The designs are displayed in a variety of formats and contexts to give clients a broad overview of how the identity works across all promotional material. It depends on the project and timeframe allotted for the project.
Adobe Photoshop (.psd) or Encapsulated PostScript (.eps) are the main filetypes provided for the brandmark (logo). Such files can be scaled to any size without loss of quality, and with the right software, clients can create any other filetype necessary (.jpg, .png, .gif, etc.). We’re more than happy to help with specific file requests, and answer any questions if clients are unsure.
How much of your project research is based upon client

Will this affect things?
The majority of our clients are from other cities and states, mainly because we meet a lot of people and have left business card EVERYWHERE. This hasn’t adversely affected any of the design projects, and whilst we’d love to meet face-to-face, it can often save time by communicating only via telephone, email and Skype. Skype has been a big investment because we have been able to meet with clients during the course of the project. Contact us to set up our first meet and greet!
With most design projects, a 50% down payment is requested prior to scheduling the work. This is payable by PayPal (using our email address) or check. Details are included in the invoice, and the remaining 50% is payable upon completion of the project, prior to supply of original artwork.

Although Melgmo Designs reserves the right to showcase designs in the portfolio and for promotional use, time constraints mean it’s not guaranteed every project will be included. Melgmo Designs Confidentiality
We consider Personal Information to be all that information, which can be used to locate you, contacts you, or determine your specific identity. When other information is linked to Personal Information, it also becomes Personal Information.
All personal information, such as your name, postal and e-mail address or telephone number, is considered private and confidential. This personal information is stored in a secure location, is accessible only by designated staff, and is used only for the purposes that you have given us permission for e.g. provision of services.
Melgmo Designs guarantees that no personal information will be released to an individual or corporation except when client authorization is received allowing the information to be released.

Terms of Agreement
By entering into any contract or agreement with Melgmo Designs for products and/or services to be provided by Melgmo Designs, including without limitation ordering any products or services through the Melgmo Designs web site (hereinafter referred to as your Contract with Melgmo Designs), you hereby agree to abide by, comply with and be legally bound by the policies, terms and conditions hereinafter set forth (these Terms and Conditions).
For purposes of these Terms and Conditions, references to the products and/or services provided by Melgmo Designs shall include, without limitation, logos, designs, names, graphics or similar materials or information, whether or not protectable, corporate gift items, printing services, web design, stationery, brochures, and other design services, and any and all future product or service offerings of Melgmo Designs.
If you do not agree with any provision of these Terms and Conditions, you should not use the services of Melgmo Designs or enter into your Contract with Melgmo Designs. These Terms and Conditions are hereby incorporated by reference into your Contract. To the extent that any provision of these Terms and Conditions conflicts with any provision of your Contract, the provision set forth herein shall be deemed amended so as to be consistent with the provisions of your Contract.
Melgmo Designs reserves the right to modify, amend, update and change these Terms and Conditions from time to time with notice via email or other means. You are responsible for regularly viewing these Terms and Conditions. You acknowledge and agree that Melgmo Designs shall not be liable to you or to any third party for any modification, amendment, suspension, discontinuance or other change to these Terms and Conditions.
LOGO DESIGN TECHNICALITIES
The logo designed will have a CMYK color model. If Pantone colors are needed the exact values should be specified.
The source file will be .psd [Photoshop CS], which will be converted to curve and thus allow editing of size, color etc..
Other formats sent will be:
• JPEG (for screen view)
• TIFF (CMYK Printable)
• EPS (scalable file for printing)
• GIF (RGB color file with transparent background)
PAYMENT
Half (50%) of the Payment for any and all products and services to be provided by Melgmo Designs under your Contract is due in advance of the commencement of any work by Melgmo Designs. This will be paid thru Paypal with tax included. The remaining balance for all projects and services the package, to include stationery design, logos, web design, brochure design, graphic design, printing, and any other service you agree to, will be collected upon completion of your final draft of designs. Your logo designs will be delivered in a JPG format with our copyright logo bright and bold. This is just the sample, which you will view by downloading the zip file or email. It may include a password that will be provided to you. You can find all this information in the email that you provided to us. If your email you provide is not valid or is filtered by your email system, Melgmo Designs will not be liable for any late service fees and will not refund clients for this reason, unless Melgmo Designs sees fit to do so.
All payment invoices will be sent thru Paypal. If you do not have a Paypal account then you must register for one. If you do not agree with this term of payment, Melgmo Designs reserves the right to cancel business with the cleint.
Melgmo Designs shall be entitled, in its sole and absolute discretion, to withhold any products or services it is otherwise obligated to deliver or provide under your Contract until such time as payment in full has been received therefore. Melgmo Designs will notify you, ONLY ONCE, of any additional charges under your Contract prior to commencing performance of its obligations there under.
In any event, any deposited funds for a project shall not be subject to refund after delivery of the first set of designs. Unless Melgmo Designs cancels or terminates your Contract for a reason other than your breach or non-performance, Melgmo Designs shall not refund any portion of your purchase price. If for any reason a refund is granted the deposit, which is one half of the total payment, will be kept by Melgmo Designs, for the services that have been rendered.
Melgmo Designs will only refund your money if our management team has deemed that Melgmo Designs has not delivered services in an efficient and effective manner as promised. Our cash refund amount is as follows if you are not satisfied:
Request refund after first concepts (this applies to logo, print advertising, web, stationery, brochure and other design concepts): Full amount less 25%.
Additional design costs to be charged with refund request:
$40 for each redraw (draft)
$50 for each revision (draft).
Example: if you have ordered the Level 2- Medium Flier Design ($130), and you request a refund after you have received the first 8 concepts, and 1 revisions of on one of those concepts- you will be entitled to a $40 refund ($130 - $40 - $50= $40).

DELIVERY AND ACCEPTANCE
Upon completion of its products and/or services in accordance with the terms and conditions set forth in your Contract, Melgmo Designs shall deliver your product and/or service to your e-mail for your review. Melgmo Designs will notify you via e-mail of such completion and delivery, and the manner in which you may access the file for purposes of reviewing your product and/or service. You shall have 10 business days from the date of delivery to said temporary location to notify Melgmo Designs in writing of your acceptance or rejection of the product and/or service. Your failure to notify Melgmo Designs in writing of your rejection of the product and/or service within said 10 day period shall constitute your acceptance of the product and/or service. In the event you reject the product and/or service, you shall notify Melgmo Designs in writing of your rejection within said 10 day period, including a detailed explanation for such rejection, following which Melgmo Designs shall use commercially reasonable efforts to provide a substitute or replacement product or service as soon as practicable. Upon your written acceptance of the product or service, or any substitute or replacement product or service,Melgmo Designs shall release and deliver the same to you, to such location and in such format as agreed upon in your Contract. This project will be determined to be closed if we do not have written, phone or in person contact from 10 days from the last revision. The project may be re-opened only upon Melgmo Designs discretion.
SATISFACTION GUARANTEED
SATISFACTION GUARANTEE PROVISION
The satisfaction guarantee means that all reasonable efforts will be made to create a design that meets your specifications within the confines of each package. This means that if you are still not satisfied after the number of redraws in the package you ordered and after all revisions have been made to your final design selection, Melgmo Designs will attempt create a design that will be acceptable to you. However, if a reasonable person defined under Alabama law would be satisfied based on the design specifications you set out on the order form, we are not obligated to continue creating designs. If you failed to provide reasonable information that will assist our designers in coming up with a design, then Melgmo Designs will not be held liable.
If Melgmo Designs believes the reasonable person would have accepted the designs, your only recourse is to commence arbitration at your expense with an arbitrator sanctioned and approved by the American Arbitration Association or by the Better Business Bureau. Further, you agree that Melgmo Designs' appearance at said arbitration can be via phone and that the arbitrator can only make a ruling requiring Melgmo Designs to create additional designs, refund your amount less the deductions noted in the payment paragraph, or rule that the current designs would have been accepted by a reasonable person. If the arbitrator rules that a reasonable person would not have been satisfied by our designs, Melgmo Designs will comply with any additional designs ordered to be created by the arbitrator.
PROPRIETARY RIGHTS
You represent and warrant that you are the owner of or have the exclusive right to use any and all proprietary information you provide to Melgmo Designs or refer to Melgmo Designs in furtherance of or in connection with your Contract, including without limitation any and all trade names, trademarks, copyrights, graphics, designs, logos, written content/copy for any use, to include copy for web design and brochures/flyers and similar materials or information.
Melgmo Designs MAKES NO REPRESENTATION OR WARRANTY THAT IT HAS THE EXCLUSIVE RIGHT, TITLE AND INTEREST IN AND TO THE PRODUCTS AND/OR SERVICES PROVIDED TO YOU OR THAT SUCH PRODUCTS AND/OR SERVICES DO NOT AND WILL NOT INFRINGE ON THE INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY OR PROPRIETARY RIGHTS OF ANY THIRD PARTY. Melgmo Designs WILL NOT TAKE ANY ACTION IN FURTHERANCE OF PROTECTING THE PRODUCTS AND/OR SERVICES TO BE DELIVERED UNDER YOUR CONTRACT, AND WILL DELIVER THE SAME AS IS AND WITHOUT ANY REPRESENTATION OR WARRANTY AS TO YOUR ABILITY TO USE SUCH PRODUCTS AND/OR SERVICES OR TO OBTAIN TRADEMARK, COPYRIGHT OR SIMILAR PROTECTION OF SUCH PRODUCTS AND/OR SERVICES, IN THE UNITED STATES OR ANY OTHER JURISDICTION.
Upon your acceptance of the product or service and Melgmo Designs receipt of payment in full therefor, Melgmo Designs will assign, convey, transfer and deliver all of its right, title and interest in and to the products and/or services developed by Melgmo Designs for you under the terms of your Contract. Any products or services, including samples, rejected or otherwise not delivered by Melgmo Designs and accepted by you shall at all times remain the property of Melgmo Designs and you shall have no right in or to such products or services.
Melgmo Designs retains and reserves the perpetual, royalty-free right to use any and all products and/or services developed by Melgmo Designs for display and self-promotional purposes, regardless of your acceptance and Melgmo Designs delivery of the same to you.
Melgmo Designs specializes in designing custom designs. We can not grant requests duplicate any designs that have been previously designed by Melgmo Designs or any other company unless you can provide notarized written notice from an executive member of the company. Melgmo Designs will design with a similar look and feel as the design you requested. Refunds will not be provided to companies who have ordered logos/designs and did not receive an identical design to an already trademarked or designed logo. Melgmo Designs will work with your company to develop an original design you are satisfied with.
TERMINATION
Melgmo Designs reserves the right, in its sole discretion and for any reason whatsoever, to reject, cancel or terminate, permanently or temporarily, your order for any product or service offered by Melgmo Designs, your Contract and/or your access to the Melgmo Designs Site web site, at any time and without prior notice. You agree that Melgmo Designs shall not be liable to you or any third party for any rejection, cancellation or termination of your order, your Contract or your access to the Melgmo Designs web site. In the event that Melgmo Designs rejects, cancels or terminates your Contract or your order for a reason other than your breach or non-performance under your Contract, Melgmo Designs will return any amounts prepaid by you relating to the rejected, canceled or terminated Contract or order.
DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES
YOU HEREBY EXPRESSLY ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE THAT THE INFORMATION, SOFTWARE, CODES, PRODUCTS, SERVICES, TEXT, GRAPHICS, LOGOS OR OTHER ITEMS AND MATERIALS PROVIDED OR MADE AVAILABLE BY Logo Design Guru ARE PROVIDED AS IS WITHOUT ANY EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTY OF ANY KIND.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, Melgmo Designs HEREBY DISCLAIMS ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, SUITABILITY, INFRINGEMENT OF INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS, OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. Melgmo Designs MAKES NO WARRANTY THAT ITS PRODUCTS OR SERVICES WILL BE PROVIDED IN A TIMELY AND SECURE MANNER, OR WITHOUT ERRORS OR DEFECTS, OR THAT ITS PRODUCTS OR SERVICES WILL NOT INFRINGE ON THE INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY OR PROPRIETARY RIGHTS OF ANY THIRD PARTY. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL Melgmo Designs OR ANY SUBSIDIARY, AFFILIATE, OFFICER, DIRECTOR, SHAREHOLDER, AGENT, EMPLOYEE OR REPRESENTATIVE THEREOF BE LIABLE TO YOU OR ANY THIRD PARTY MAKING A CLAIM THROUGH YOU FOR ANY DAMAGES WHATSOEVER, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO ANY SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, DIRECT, INDIRECT, PUNITIVE OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES WHATSOEVER (INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF USE, BUSINESS INTERRUPTION OR LOSS OF INFORMATION OR THE COST OF PROCUREMENT OF SUBSTITUTE PRODUCTS OR SERVICES), ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR CONTRACT, THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS, OR THE PRODUCTS OR SERVICES PROVIDED BY Melgmo Designs TO YOU, EVEN IF Melgmo Designs HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POTENTIAL FOR SUCH DAMAGES AND WHETHER SUCH DAMAGES ARISE IN CONTRACT, NEGLIGENCE, TORT, UNDER STATUTE, IN EQUITY, AT LAW OR OTHERWISE. NOTWITHSTANDING ANY PROVISION TO THE CONTRARY CONTAINED IN YOUR CONTRACT OR THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS, Melgmo Designs LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY DAMAGES RELATED TO OR ARISING OUT OF THE CONTRACT OR Melgmo Designs PROVISION OF PRODUCTS OR SERVICES SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AGGREGATE AMOUNT PAID BY YOU TO Melgmo Designs UNDER YOUR CONTRACT OR FOR SUCH PRODUCTS OR SERVICES.
PRINTING LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL Melgmo Designs OR ANY SUBSIDIARY, AFFILIATE, OFFICER, DIRECTOR, SHAREHOLDER, AGENT, EMPLOYEE OR REPRESENTATIVE THEREOF BE LIABLE TO YOU OR ANY THIRD PARTY MAKING A CLAIM THROUGH YOU FOR ANY PRINTING DAMAGES WHATSOEVER, (to include for example, yet not exclude any other printing issues: color variation, product delivery, pricing, condition of product upon delivery, necessity or quality of printed proofs, typing or content errors) as they may relate to print services that have been fulfilled by vendors or companies outside for Melgmo Designs. This includes any vendors that may be listed on Melgmo Designs.com.
INDEMNIFICATION
You agree to indemnify and hold Melgmo Designs, its subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, shareholders, agents and employees, harmless from and against any loss, damage, liability, cost or expense of any kind, including attorneys fees, incurred by Melgmo Designs in connection with a third party claim, demand or otherwise, due to, arising out of, related to or otherwise attributable to the actual or alleged infringement or violation of any intellectual property right asserted by a third party, or otherwise arising out of or related to (i) any materials or intellectual property provided by you in furtherance of the project contemplated by your Contract, or (ii) your use of any of the products or services provided by Melgmo Designs pursuant to your Contract.
COPYRIGHT AND TRADEMARK NOTICES
All intellectual property of Melgmo Designs, including all web site screens and portions thereof, graphics, original text elements, site design, logos, pictures and icons, as well as the selection, format and organization thereof, constitute proprietary and confidential information that is protected by applicable intellectual property and other laws. Except as expressly authorized by Melgmo Designs in writing or otherwise required by applicable law, any rent, lease, sale, modification, duplication, distribution, alteration, retransmission or publication of any intellectual property or proprietary information of Melgmo Designs is strictly prohibited.

These Terms and Conditions, together with your Contract, shall constitute the sole agreement and understanding between you and Melgmo Designs regarding the matters set forth herein, and any and all previous agreements and understandings between or among you and Melgmo Designs regarding the subject matter hereof, whether written or oral, other than your Contract, are superseded by these Terms and Conditions. No agreement or other understanding other than your Contract purporting to modify these Terms and Conditions shall be binding upon Melgmo Designs unless otherwise agreed to by Melgmo Designs in writing. The failure of Melgmo Designs to exercise or enforce any right or provision of these Terms and Conditions shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision. Any provision of these Terms and Conditions which is invalid or unenforceable in any jurisdiction shall be ineffective to the extent of such invalidity or unenforceability without invalidating or rendering unenforceable the remaining provisions hereof; and any such invalidity or unenforceability in any jurisdiction shall not invalidate or render unenforceable such provision in any other jurisdiction
